Experimentation with basic tools leading to refinement of individual mark-making style and the decoration of selected objects
Mark-making is at the heart of all creativity. The sequence, rhythm, movement, direction and flow of marks on a surface show us so much about the individual.
This session uses music to support a ‘mood’ driven introductory session, experimenting with dots, dashes, lines, circles etc., Learners then proceed to find their best personal mark-making/pattern-making technique, and finally, they decorate a small collection of beautiful objects to gift to someone, or keep in their own homes.
This is a perfect workshop for anyone who has completed our chalk paint introductory workshop, and who wishes to develop a furniture-art service of their own.
This session will give learners the chance to find, develop and continue to paint in their own signature style,
