Technical drawing for interior designers (working on a drawing board, understanding scale, proportion and perspective, creating accurate technical drawings suitable for presentation to clients).
Tech drawing is a notoriously difficult thing to grasp, not only for interior design students, but also for freelance designers starting up a small practice of their own. I have several years industry practise and ten years teaching experience with technical drawing.
I teach enthusiastically, and with patience and encouragement at every step. Learning technical drawing becomes enjoyable for both student and tutor, and a great sense of achievement occurs as understanding takes place and beautiful scaled perspective drawings start to take form.
Learning tech drawing is the basis of so many other skills. It improves sketching, line quality, and more accurate perception when planning spatial layouts.
